PaddlingInstructor.com was started in 2006 with the goal to create a place for canoe and kayak instructors to share teaching ideas and resources. Since then it has grown into a highly successful outdoor news site and is one of the largest resource repositories for outdoor instructors on the net.
Site developer, David Johnston has been a sea kayak instructor with Paddle Canada for 15 years and lives in Toronto, Ontario. He also serves as the chair of the Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Program Development Committee which is responsible for the maintenance of the sea kayak program in Canada.
